The annual “Four States Invitational Marching Competition”, hosted by Texas High School will take place this Saturday, October 2 at Grim Stadium in Texarkana. The competition will be from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.

There was a lot of feedback in 2020 when COVID 19 limited the number of fans allowed to watch their bands during each performance. For 2021 there are fewer restrictions, but spectators are asked to continue doing their best to mitigate the spread of the Delta Variant.

All performances will be live-streamed online at TIGERVISION.ORG.

Texas High will perform, but as the hosting band, they will not be judged for competition.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
