The weather will be beautiful and there is a lot to do in Texarkana this weekend. A huge day lined up at Rocky Creek Outdoors for Saturday with the Tri-State Sporting Clays Championship and the Texarkana Deer Camp 2021 Banquet that evening. Here is the list of live entertainment.

The 2021 Tri-State Sporting Clays Championship at Rocky Creek Outdoors, 4001 South Stateline Avenue, begins at 8:00 am on Saturday, September 25. 100 sporting clay targets, 100 5-stand targets, and you don’t have to be a pro to win some big money, you just have to participate.

The 2021 Texarkana Deer Camp hosted by Whitetails Unlimited begins at 5:30 pm with the social hour, followed by dinner. A limited number of tickets will be at the door. Games, raffles, and just too much fun, while working towards our local wildlife conservation.

    Live Music this weekend…

    FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
Alex & Liv at La Fogata’s
Dusty Rose Band at 67 Landing
    Karaoke at the Arrow Bar
De France Band at Fat Jacks

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
