Harvest Regional Food Bank will host a citywide, multi-site food distribution on Thursday, November 6, to help meet immediate hunger relief needs for residents across the Texarkana area.

The food bank will provide shelf-stable food boxes from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., or until all boxes are distributed. Four convenient drive-through locations will operate on both sides of the state line:

    1. Lifehouse Ministries – 915 East Street, Texarkana, AR

    2. Four States Fairgrounds (front parking lot) – 3700 East 50th Street, Texarkana, AR

    3. Mt. Sinai House of Prayer – 100 Gazola Street, Texarkana, TX

    4. First Methodist Church – Summerhill Campus – 5801 Summerhill Drive, Texarkana, TX

Each household is eligible to receive one food box, with a maximum of two households served per vehicle.

All distributions will be drive-through only, allowing families to safely receive food assistance without leaving their vehicles.

Harvest Regional Food Bank serves communities throughout Southwest Arkansas and Northeast Texas, working year-round to combat food insecurity through direct distributions, partner pantries, and community programs.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
