February 4 & 5 is a really busy weekend in Texarkana with events, activities, live music, and more. From professional MMA to High School Rodeo, and two days of the AKC All-Breed Dog Show.

The Kennel Club of Texarkana hosts the AKC All Breed Dog Show at the Four States Fairgrounds on Saturday, and Sunday. Over 1,100 dogs representing 120 breeds put on a great show. Free admission for spectators. Activities get started each day at 8:00 am and run til 5:00 pm.

“The Best Chili in Texarkana Chili Cookoff” happens Saturday at noon inside The Sportsplex by Healthcare Express. To us, this is one of the big 3 cook-offs in the region.

Peak Fighting returns to Texarkana for PF:17 at the Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center. UFC reps will be on hand for the most exciting card in Peak history. Malik Lewis Vs. Geovani Parca for the main event, Katie Strite defends her title and an undercard that is truly explosive. PPV available at peakfighting.com.

The Southwest Arkansas Regional High School Rodeo will be on Saturday, February 5 inside the Equine Center at the Four States Fairgrounds.

The Naaman’s Championship BBQ Open happens Saturday beginning at 9:00 am at Rocky Creek Outdoors with a $6,500 guaranteed payout.
