All new to the location at 907 New Boston Road it’s the Moderne Primitives Beer & Wine Store. With a great selection of craft and specialty beers along with all of your domestic and foreign beers. The store has a great wine selection with some of the most popular Texas wines, including local favorite “Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards” in nearby Pittsburg, Texas.
Sandy Spades, owner of the new store along with the original Moderne Primitives Store and of course Texarkana’s oldest Tattoo Shop Dermographic Studios gave us the tour of the new store. Sandy has been in business in Texarkana for more than 25 years now and is very excited to be offering the selections they have in stock at Moderne Primitives Beer & Wine. She has been testing just about everything… for quality assurance of course…
I didn’t know what I would think of the craft beers, but the other night we had a tasting, and I love this “Jacko Traveler Pumpkin Shandy. We are excited to offer a lot of the brands you aren’t gonna see at the grocery stores, and I think we have the largest selection of Mexican Beers than anybody.
Customers are able to mix and match brands and create their own six-pack samplers to try out the many different brews available, including many of the favorite seasonal beers.
We asked her about the wine selection,
I prefer wine, and it is so cool that we are going to have so many Texas wines available, like Ed’s and of course my favorite Los Pinos, I love their winery over in Pittsburgh, Texas. It is sooo good.

We dedicated this space specifically for beer and wine, so that makes it the first of it’s kind here in Texarkana, Texas. We can order any wines for customers if we don’t have it in stock, and we can order craft beers as well. Just let us know what you want and we’ll get it for you!
