Country music fans in Texarkana are in for a treat as recording star Jerrod Niemann is set to perform at The Duke Bar & Grill on October 11. Known for his deep connection to country music and heartfelt performances, Niemann is bringing his powerful new single, “Old Glory,” to the stage for the first time in the area.
“Old Glory,” a patriotic anthem penned by Niemann, is a tribute to U.S. soldiers and their sacrifices, inspired by the 2017 Tongo Tongo ambush in Niger. Described by Niemann as “100 percent heart, zero percent politics,” the song reflects his longstanding respect for military personnel, a sentiment he has shared during numerous USO Tours. The track made its debut on that year’s USO Holiday Tour and has since become a symbol of Niemann’s dedication to honoring American heroes.
In addition to showcasing “Old Glory,” Niemann will be drawing from his critically-acclaimed 2017 album THIS RIDE, which features hits like the upbeat “I Got This,” the duet “A Little More Love” with Lee Brice, and the romantic “God Made a Woman.” His career highlights include the PLATINUM-certified #1 anthem “Drink to That All Night” from the 2014 album HIGH NOON, and his successful debut album JUDGE JERROD & THE HUNG JURY, which launched him into the country music spotlight with hits such as “Lover, Lover” and “What Do You Want.”
With a track record of collaborations with top country artists like Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, and Keith Urban, Niemann continues to push the boundaries of the genre while paying homage to its roots. Fans at The Duke Bar & Grill can expect an evening of compelling music and heartfelt performances from one of country’s most innovative artists.
