74-year-old Rebbie Roberson was settling in for the t.v. news on Sunday night when an armed intruder came busting into her living room pointing a gun in her face. So, she got to her .38 Caliber revolver and opened fire!

Rebbie opened fire putting bullet holes in her walls as she said, “She was trying to kill him”. The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the case that has gone viral about this  74-year-old pistol-packing granny!

Bowie County Sheriff James Prince posted,

“This happened in Liberty Eylau, the evening of January 1st. If you have any knowledge of who committed this act please call Bowie County Sheriff’s Investigator David Biggar, at 903-798-3158. You need to see this video. Would be future criminals need to take heed what could happen!”

    ABC World News Video…

Deputies don’t believe the would-be attacker was hit by Roberson’s bullets, but they are investigating the case. If you have any information regarding this case or any other contact the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office at 903-798-3158 or you can always contact Crimestoppers at 903-793-STOP.

There are no plans for any type of charges against Ms. Roberson and the BCSO has no issue with the actions she took in defending her life in this very violent incident,

“Every citizen, according to the Texas penal code, has the right to defend themselves and their family.”

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
