Fun times are planned for this weekend in Texarkana, some of our favorite events are happening too. Thanks to our community partners at Tony Langford Roofing and Whiskey River Country Club, we rundown the best live entertainment in town the weekend of May 2 & 3.
The 10th Annual “Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival” happens this Saturday at Spring Lake Park. All of the details are at TexarkanaFYI.com.

Our Farmers are back at it this weekend on both sides of Stateline Avenue. The Texarkana Texas Farmer’s Market kicks off Saturday morning, May 3. Come out and meet the farmers at 8:00 am as they set up around the Historic Downtown Federal Building. On the Arkansas side of the line we have Gateway Farmer’s Market with fresh produce, USDA meats, and more, visit both of them!

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
