Law Enforcement officers from multiple agencies are currently searching a wooded area north of Ashdown, Arkansas for 36-year-old Christopher Whistle. He is wanted for felony drug charges.
The Southwest Arkansas Drug Task Force is searching for the suspect along with members of the F.B.I., A.S.P., Little River Sheriff’s Department and other local agencies. The have boots on the ground and a helicopter participating in the search.
It is reported that the suspect was seen wearing a red shirt, Jeans, and Boots when he ran into the wooded area off of Highway 71 just about a 1/4 mile north of Ashdown, Arkansas.

Fleeing suspect Christopher Whistle, white male, 5’7″, approximately 170 pounds, brown eyes brown hair. Suspect jumped out of a vehicle during traffic stop on HWY 71 N about a quarter of a mile north of Ashdown city limits. Suspect jumped out of vehicle and fled on foot on west side of HWY 71 into woods. Suspect last seen heading northwest of that area. Suspect was wearing blue jeans, red shirt with white tank top underneath and boots. If you come in contact with this individual call 9-1-1 immediately.
