Houston Police are confirming that the remains found in a black garbage bag on Fulton exit 18 of I-30 are in fact those of Maleah Davis, the missing 4-year-old from Texas.
Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo released this statement:
Maleah does have family in Houston that grieves for this poor angel and will take care of a proper burial, but many in our area are moved to leave something in the memory of this child. A makeshift shrine is set up along the exit now and growing every day.
