The Miller County Office of Management has released information on the Phizer and Moderna COVID 19 vaccines allotted for the area. Here is information on the schedule of vaccinations, locations, and more.

Vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna have been granted emergency use authorization. Both vaccines have undergone robust safety reviews and clinical trials. Though the development of the vaccines have followed accelerated timelines, safety has not been compromised. There wont be enough vaccine initially for all adults, but supply will increase into 2021 and additional vaccines may be authorized. Phase 1-B of vaccination begins on January 18th in Arkansas with two groups: Arkansans who are 70 or older and those who work in education, including k-12, higher education and child care. Arkansans who are 70 and older can make an appointment though a community based pharmacy beginning on January 18th. However, if you can get the vaccine from your local primary care physician or another source, do it. In a social media post from the Miller County Emergency Management Coordinator said:
Considering my experience with the lagging response of the ADH, I would suggest not waiting on it to arrive in Arkansas. If any other location will allow you to get the vaccine, I would definitely go there. But that would be the determination of the facility dispensing the vaccine.
