N.W.S Texarkana Radio Transmitter Currently Out of Service


The National Weather Service Bureau in Shreveport Louisiana reports that the Texarkana radio transmitter for National Weather Service information is currently out of service. Technicians are searching for the problem.

Media Release:

Our weekly NOAA Weather Radio test was conducted earlier. For our listeners’ awareness, the Texarkana and Marietta transmitters remain down at this time. The audio quality is currently degraded for the Shreveport transmitter. Technicians are troubleshooting these issues.
