    Pesticide Applicator Training Date Scheduled for Miller County

    Applying pesticides requires education and training to assure safe and effective use. If you are interested in obtaining a license or if you need to renew an existing one, a class is scheduled for Monday, October 26, 2020, at Riggs Cat Equipment Sales and Rentals, 2400 Trinity, Texarkana, Arkansas, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

    The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service in
    Miller County is offering an in-person Private Pesticide Applicator Training.

    We have one scheduled for Monday, October 26, 2020, at Riggs Cat Equipment Sales and
    Rentals, 2400 Trinity, Texarkana, Arkansas, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Applying pesticides requires
    education and training to assure safe and effective use.

    If you are interested in obtaining a license or if you need to renew an existing one, call our office at 870-779-3609 or email jsmallwood@uaex.edu to pre-register. Cost is $20 for the training plus $45 for a license that is good for 5 years. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

    Masks are required and social distancing will be upheld. Pens will not be collected after the
    class. If you feel sick, please do not come.
