    Plan Ahead for National Night Out in Texarkana on October 1

    It’s time to start making plans for National Night Out in Texarkana, set for October 1, 2024. Local police departments are gearing up for this community-building event, and they’re eager to be a part of your neighborhood celebration.

    If you’re hosting an event, now is the time to reach out to your local Public Information Officers to ensure they can attend. For Texarkana Arkansas Police, contact Kristen Schultz at Kristen.schultz@txkusa.org, and for Texarkana Texas Police, get in touch with Shawn Vaughn at vaughn@texarkanatexas.gov.

    Many of our local law enforcement agencies are active on social media, so don’t forget to let them know where the parties are. They’re known for bringing a little extra fun for the kids, making this night a highlight of the year.

    National Night Out is all about fostering a sense of community and strengthening the bond between residents and law enforcement, so start planning your event today!
