    Planned Funeral Route for Fallen Miller County Corrections Officer

    The entire community is mourning the death of corrections officer Lisa Mauldin in an attack by an inmate at the Miller County Detention Center. The Miller County Sheriff’s Office has released the planned route for the funeral procession.

    The funeral service is scheduled to be held at Trinity Baptist Church at 3115 Trinity Blvd, in Texarkana Arkansas on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.

    Following the funeral service, interment will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Texarkana, Texas. The procession will travel from Trinity Baptist down the loop to 7th Street where Hillcrest Cemetery is located.

    MCSO Press Release:

    The motorcade will leave Trinity Baptist Church, 3115 Trinity Boulevard Texarkana, Arkansas, and go to Hillcrest Cemetery, 5101 W. 7th Texarkana Texas, via south bound on Four States Fair Blvd., I-49 south around the loop to W. 7th.  Estimated time of departure from Trinity is 14:45 p.m.
