Texarkana Texas Police are investigating an early-morning incident that left one person dead following a confrontation on North Park Road.
According to police, officers were called to the area around 4:20 a.m. after a homeowner reported confronting two individuals who were allegedly attempting to break into a vehicle. During the encounter, one of the suspects was shot.
The injured individual was transported to a local hospital, where police say the suspect later died from their injuries.
Authorities emphasized that this remains an active and ongoing investigation, and many details surrounding the incident are still under review. Police have not released information about the identities of those involved or whether any charges are expected at this time.
