Restaurant Review: U.S. Pizza Company – Texarkana

0

Open one year in their location at 4206 Gibson Lane, I hate that it took me so long to stop in and try them, but not only was the “Meatza Pizza” very good but had a fun time while I was there.

Located on Gibson Lane, behind Target and next door to Excel ER, U.S. Pizza Company has a pretty good menu, with pizza of course, but some good-sized sandwiches also. I went to the restaurant late in the afternoon on a Wednesday and met Sam Dickens, the owner. We talked about some ideas like .99 cent pizza day, really hoping that works out. We talked about the restaurant. The whole idea is a good fun environment with for families and all. Sam, gave me permission to take some video and photos. I got the MEATZA, because, well, all the meats, Beef, Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Italian Sausage, and Pepperoni, Got some Nachos too. Watch.

The place started getting a little crowded and loved the sound of laughter as folks started gathering for Trivia Night. The Meatza was really good. With fresh ingredients it wasn’t all oily, the crust was crispy, was really good. The supreme nachos were good. Gluten Free Corn Tortilla Chips, Topped with Seasoned Beef or Fajita Chicken, Baked with Pepper Jack Cheese, Jalapenos, Chopped Onions, and Mozzarella Cheese.

The food was good, the atmosphere was fun and friendly for families. As the weather gets warmer I can see eating out on the patio pretty regular as I believe I will be back to U.S. Pizza Company often.

Take a look at the MENU.

(Again, I think it’s kinda weird doing a restaurant review because I can only judge off of what I think, you know, what tastes good to me. I hope you will stop by and see what you think of our friends at U.S. Pizza Company – Texarkana)
