T.A.P.D. Collects More than 230 Pounds of Prescription Drugs


In the recent “Fall Drug Take Back” event the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department collected 232 pounds of prescription drugs from the community. In the state of Arkansas, a total of 28,035 pounds were collected.

Harding University College of Pharmacy student, Brooke Boston assisted investigators during Drug Take Back.

For those that have prescription drugs they wish to dispose of safely, there is a drop-off box at the entrance of the Miller County Jail on Highway 71.
