The Texarkana Texas Police Department is organizing a Law Enforcement Explorer Post and are seeking young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20-years-old interested in a career in Law Enforcement.

An organizational meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October at 7:00 pm in the TTPD Training Center at 1420 South Park Road. For more information call (903) 798-3116.

    Media Release:

We are working with the Caddo Area Council, BSA to start a Law Enforcement Explorer Post for young men and women who are between 14 and 20 years old and interested in law enforcement as a possible career choice. Does this sound like anyone that you know? If so, we are having an organizational meeting on Thursday night at 7:00 at our Special Operations and Training Center, located at 1420 South Park Road. We encourage parents and guardians to come with their teenagers to also hear about this great program. Sergeants Ronn McDaniel and Greg Walker, the post advisors, will be there to answer any questions that you might have.

We look forward to seeing you there.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
