    ‘Tails Fur Tails’ Crawfish Boil Event Happens Friday Afternoon

    “Tails Fur Tails” is a crawfish boil event designed to raise funds for area animal rescue groups and their efforts. Cash and Pet Food donations will be accepted. Great food, music and lots of fun with a Crawfish Eating Contest, a Pet Costume Contest and more at Bank of the Ozarks on Summerhill Road Friday at 4:00 PM.

    Bring your pets and enjoy the crawfish boil, music, a crawfish eating contest, a creative pet costume contest, photo booth, games, door prizes, and more! The cost is $10 per plate and that gets you one door prize entry also. You can donate $5 to get an entry without food. Cash and pet food donations are accepted.

    The event is planned to be held at Bank of the Ozarks at 5202 Summerhill Road. The festivities begin at 4:00 pm, and will go on until 7:00 pm. The crawfish eating contest will be at 5:30 PM and open to the first 15 people to sign-up. There is a $25 entry fee for the contest. You can get signed up now by calling Kelly Sullivan at 903-278-4433 or Deidre Arnold at 903-255-6333, or by stopping by Bank of the Ozarks at 5202 Summerhill.

The first 3 contestants to finish 5 pounds of crawfish will place… First Place prize valued at $250, second place valued at $150 and third place $75.

    The Pet Costume contest will be held at 6:00 PM. The first place winner will receive $100 and a trophy, second place gets $50 cash and a trophy and third place pays $25 and a trophy.
