Taste of India, a popular local restaurant in Central Mall will be closing their store. A social media post from the owners hints that a new location may be coming soon.

Owner Krishna Bashyal posted this in Texarkana Cheers and Jeers:

Hello all! we want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing us to serve you for the past two years. Being able to serve each and everyone, talk and listen to your stories/experiences has been an extraordinarily fulfilling experience for us.

We would like to specially thank Central Mall Texarkana and the management over there for hosting us over the years, and we are extremely pleased with our experience working with them.

With that being said I would like to announce that Taste Of India will be closing tomorrow 10/14/19.

Although this is not the end! We will be back in the near future with a relocated full service restaurant. If you want to keep updated, please follow and like our page as updates will be posted here.

Once again, thank you for everything. We can’t wait to serve you again!

We spoke with Krishna Bashyal and he says that he is hoping to have another location in November, with hopes of locating in downtown Texarkana.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
