This weekend is going to be a scorcher! It will be one of those weekends you hope for a rain shower, but if you get one the humidity will choke you out! Still, the good times and fun is waiting. The annual Daddy Daughter Dance to benefit Mission Texarkana is Friday night, June 20 at Highland Park Baptist Church located at 1000 S. Bishop Road in Wake Village. Moving to the new venue to accomodate more dads, stepdads, grandpas, and father figures too! Come dance under the stars with your favorite girl! Festivities begin at 6pm… MORE DETAILS HERE.
The 5th annual Texarkana Juneteenth Parade will be happening Saturday, June 21 at the Four States Fairgrounds. Celebrating Freedom, Unity, and Community all are invited to attend. There will be food, music, and fun at the Fairgrounds. MORE DETAILS HERE.
After the first attempt getting rained out, this Sunday, June 22 at Rocky Creek Outdoors it’s the Texarkana Animal Leagues Sporting Clay Shoot. This fundraiser is benefiting the Texarkana Animal League so that we can continue our rescue efforts and work in the community… MORE DETAILS HERE.
