Texarkana police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect connected to a string of early morning break-ins at local oil change businesses on both sides of the state line.
Detective Lauren Freeman has been leading the investigation into three burglaries — two in Texas and one in Arkansas — and her efforts recently led to a key breakthrough. Thanks to surveillance footage from a nearby apartment complex, Jaquavion Williams has been identified as a suspect.
The video shows two individuals fleeing the area of one of the burglarized shops, carrying a safe to a car registered to Williams just minutes after the crime occurred.
After gathering evidence and obtaining warrants, Detective Freeman reached out to Williams, who initially agreed to turn himself in the following day. Unfortunately, that never happened.
Williams is now wanted on two felony burglary charges, and police are turning to the community for assistance.
If you know the whereabouts of Jaquavion Williams, you’re urged to contact the Texarkana Police Department at 903-798-3116 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at 903-793-STOP. Tips can remain anonymous, and information leading to an arrest could earn you a reward of up to $1,000.

Police say continued cooperation from the public plays a crucial role in closing cases like these and keeping the community safe.
