The T.T.P.D. will be recognizing 11 Westlawn Elementary students for their quick thinking when a teacher that got suddenly got sick and needed help.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department will recognize 11 Westlawn Elementary School fourth grade students for their quick actions to assist a teacher who became ill and passed out in the classroom last week.
The students will be honored and presented certificates during a school wide assembly and “Spring into Reading” pep rally on Friday, April 15 at 1:30 p.m.
