A powerful day of hope, healing, and celebration is coming to Texarkana as the community hosts its first-ever Recovery and Faith-Based Event this Saturday, May 17, at Spring Lake Park.
The event, “We Do Recover” is being organized by Recovery Road Productions and Jason Butler, who are passionate about bringing the community together to support those on the journey of sobriety and spiritual growth.
This free, family-friendly event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and promises a full day of live music, powerful recovery testimonies, food trucks, and local vendors—all centered around the message of faith, recovery, and community support.
Organizers say the event will highlight amazing stories of recovery from local individuals who have overcome addiction and hardship through faith and perseverance. “It’s about celebrating sobriety, sharing hope, and lifting one another up,” said organizers with Recovery Road Productions. “Whether you’re in recovery, know someone who is, or just want to be part of something positive—this event is for you.”
Live faith-based music and praise will fill the air throughout the day, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and spiritual renewal. Attendees can also enjoy a variety of local food trucks and browse booths from area vendors and support organizations.
Admission is completely free, and everyone is welcome—including families, churches, support groups, and community members from all walks of life.
The celebration will take place at Spring Lake Park, offering plenty of space and amenities for what organizers hope will become an annual tradition of encouragement, healing, and outreach.
