Congratulations to all at Texarkana Water Utilities, as they recently won the award of “Best Drinking Water in Arkansas” in a statewide competition. The honor was announced at the Arkansas Water Works & Water Environment Association Conference in Hot Springs, May 1-4, 2022.

Texarkana Water Utilities won the best drinking water contest, for the State of Arkansas, at the Arkansas Water Works & Water Environment Association (AWW&WEA) Conference in Hot Springs, May 1-4, 2022. During the month of February water suppliers in the 8 districts participate in drinking water contests. The winner of each district then participates at State level. 8 samples were submitted and tested at the AWW&WEA Conference on May 1, resulting in Texarkana Water Utilities being awarded the Best Drinking Water in the State of Arkansas! Congratulations to TWU employees at the Wright Patman Water Treatment Plant and Millwood Water Treatment Plant for their commitment to serving our customers the very best!
