Texarkana’s First Annual ‘Home Run Derby’ Set for April 23

It’s “Batter Up Against Domestic Violence” with Texarkana’s first annual Home Run Derby, Saturday April 23 at the Texas High School Softball Field. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with all proceeds going to the Domestic Violence Prevention Shelter.

This event is the 2016 English IV AP Capstone project for Chealsea Slider, Molly Crouch, Cecelia Goesl, and Jessica Emerson.

The event will be held at the Texas High Softball field on April 23rd with registration beginning at 9:00AM. To participate the entry fee will be $10 for 10 chances and their are boy and girls age divisons that are set up so everything will be fair. (8-11 years old, 12-14 years old, and 15-18 years old) General admission will be $3 and concession stands will be opened too! This event is open to everyone in the surrounding area so everyone mark your calender and come out to support the Domestic Violence Prevention Shelter!!!
