Thanksgiving weekend brings a lot of folks home and there is no shortage of entertainment for this weekend to keep us busy. Live music, local shopping, and Christmas Trees… Check out what we have so far. To add to the list, email texarkanafyi@gmail.com.

Saturday, November 27 is Small Business Saturday, and all are encouraged to shop local and shop small. Out at the Texarkana Texas Convention Center with a lot of local vendors in one location. The Saturday after Thanksgiving is “Small Business Saturday” to encourage supporting our local mom ‘n’ pops. Check out our many local shops, stores, boutiques, and business this weekend. When you do, check in online with the hashtag #shopsmalltxk21.

Also happening on Saturday, it’s Christmas in the Park at Spring Bank Park in Doddridge. Christmas Tree lighting, Santa Claus will stop by, hot chocolate and cookies, with a Fireworks show planned. The event is free to the public and is scheduled from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
