This Weekend in Texarkana – September 16 & 17


Here is our weekly weekend rundown of events, activities, and live music in Texarkana for the weekend of September 16 & 17, 2022, thanks to Crossties in downtown, and Hobbs Manufactured Homes on the loop. Check all of this out!

On Saturday, September 16 it is the 27th annual Ride to Remember in conjunction with the 34th annual Pow-MIA Vigil, The ride will start at the Arkansas Welcome Center on 71 north at the Red River. EVERYONE is invited to participate, bikes, cars, big rigs, if it is legal to roll the roads it can ride. Kickstands up at 2:40 pm traveling south on 71, on down Stateline Avenue to the Vietnam/Korean War Memorial at the intersection of 7th and Stateline. For more information email

Also on Saturday, September 17 at 5:00 pm it’s the Whitetails Unlimited Banquet, “Texarkana Deer Camp 2022” at Rocky Creek Outdoors. For us, this is one of the big “it” events of the year. Join us at the Texarkana FYI table for Social Hour beginning at 5:00 pm with a Catfish Supper at 7:00 pm. Rocky Creek Outdoors is located at 4001 South Stateline Avenue.
