In one of the region’s most anticipated shows of this year, the Turnpike Troubadours will perform at Scottie’s Grill on Saturday, October 7 in Texarkana, Texas.
For years the fanbase of the Turnpike Troubadours has steadily grown. The group regularly draws 5,000-plus crowds at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, they’ve sold out three nights in a row at Gruene Hall and often turn several hundred away when they perform at the Legendary Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin. Over the last few years, they have really picked up a lot of new fans from coast to coast, even being chosen by Playboy as one of the top acts to see in 2015.

The Turnpike Troubadours are comprised of singer/guitarist Evan Felker, bassist RC Edwards, fiddler Kyle Nix, steel and electric guitarist Ryan Engleman and drummer Gabe Pearson. Since the groups beginning in 2007, they have played their way from honky-tonks to the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.
The band seems to keep a constant touring schedule with their latest, self-titled album, “Turnpike Troubadours” and are bringing their fun high-energy show to Texarkana. Tickets for the Saturday, October 7 show at Scottie’s can be purchased online or at Scottie’s, 8400 W. 7th Street.
