The Texarkana Joint Operations Center on April 10 reported positive case numbers for the Texarkana rising, but slowly. Bowie County reports 41 positive cases, Cass County reports 5 positive cases, and Miller County last reported 20 positive cases for a total of 66 positive cases in the Texarkana region.
Per our discussion with Texarkana Health Authority Dr. Matt Young this morning, with many taking this crisis seriously with their “social distancing” and staying at and/or working from home, the numbers are climbing but slowly. So, it is our belief that the efforts of many are helping to flatten the curve in our communities.
