Listeners got a taste of the world without leaving Texarkana this morning, as local photographer Eric Ethridge joined the KTFS Radio morning show to talk about his travels, his lens, and the incredible images he’s captured along the way.
From remote mountain villages to bustling international cities, Ethridge has built a stunning portfolio of photographs that tell stories most of us only dream of experiencing firsthand.
Ethridge discussed the passion and patience it takes to get the perfect shot, whether he’s shooting the golden hour on a cliffside in Iceland or capturing street life in Southeast Asia. His photography, both vivid and soulful, invites viewers into worlds far beyond the Texas/Arkansas state line.
Now back in Texarkana for a bit, Ethridge works for the city of Texarkana Arkansas, I would like to give his title, all of his titles (everybody with the city wears multiple hats) — he makes sure that all of the websites, social media, and such are up to date. He is always updating communications, and handling IT responsibilities. His photography is his passion, and he hopes his work encourages others to explore and appreciate both the world and the art around them.
