WW II Vintage Aircraft Flyover Boosts Spirits in Texarkana [VIDEO]

Steuart Walton, Chairman of Governor Hutchinson’s Economic Recovery Task Force for the State of Arkansas led a squadron of vintage world war II aircraft in two flyovers of Texarkana today.

This was the “Arkansas: The United State” flyover tour to show support and gratitude to all healthcare workers, first responders and all that have been affected by COVID-19 in the State. The squadron consists of a 1944 Goodyear Corsair, and 3 North American P-51 Mustangs.

Hundreds of observers were scattered all around Wadley Regional Hospital and St. Michaels to see the flyover. It was confusing because we never got confirmation if they would fly over the stateline. So, we set up at the Former Texarkana Library… our video is a little long, as the planes were about 5 minutes behind schedule… we share another video here that was shot near St. Michael’s.

Planes appear at about 4 minutes and 30 seconds into this video…
