The Liberty Eylau Fire Department responded to a call of a vehicle fire around 10:30 p.m. Friday night at Oil Field Road and Stipp Lane. The vehicle was unattended at the time of the fire, and was noticed and reported by a passerby.
The vehicle belongs to a Liberty Eylau employee that was driving a bus with a school function and was hauling kids back from the game at the time of the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown, but under investigation.
