The “2021 Dwight Nevill Memorial Christmas Fun Toy Run” happens on Saturday, December 11, 2021. We have the details with the organizer, and friend, Al Green. This year as many as 500 motorcycles are expected for the parade through Texarkana.
The day starts leaving from the CVS parking lot in New Boston, Texas at 9:00 am, and will arrive at the Texarkana Central Mall parking lot about 9:30 am. As all gather for the parade in the parking lot near Capital One Bank. The parade of vehicles will lead out of the Central Mall parking lot at 10:00 am with motorcycles following the police escort, and all other entries following behind. The parade will head north over I-30, to University down by Texarkana Harley Davidson on Walton Drive and Walmart to New Boston Road. The parade will head East on New Boston Road all the way to the merge into Texas Boulevard to 7th Street. The parade will head east on 7th Street. The parade will take a left and head north on Stateline Avenue and continue on to Texas Boulevard, and course back to the Central Mall Parking Lot.
When all arrive back to the Mall parking lot by 11:00 am, that’s when all make their donations of new unwrapped toys in an effort to fill the United States Marine Corp truck that will be there. Chic-fil-a will have food, there will be live music too. Later the live auction will take place at the Elks Lodge on New Boston Road starting at 1:00 pm.
