The Albertsons store located on Richmond Road is scheduled to close on November 10, 2018. The Sav-on Pharmacy inside the grocery store will be closing a month earlier on October 10.
We spoke to management at the store and confirmed that the last day for the pharmacy is October 10, 2018, and that the grocery store has scheduled November 10 to be the last day of business for Albertsons at that location. Many of the current employees will be able to transfer to other stores.
The notice on the front doors of the store informs pharmacy customers that their prescriptions will be transferred to the CVS Pharmacy on Richmond.
The chain has two other locations in Texarkana on 7th Street and another on Stateline Avenue.
