Texarkana Road Runner stores are supporting our local High Schools with new fuel “Spirit Pumps”. A portion of each sale at Road Runner’s school-branded pumps will be distributed to Arkansas High School, Liberty-Eylau High School, Pleasant Grove High School, and Texas High School.

You can find the pumps at 5720 Loop 245 for Arkansas High, 4603 W. 7th Street for Liberty-Eylau, 4101 N. Kings Highway for Pleasant Grove, and 1632 Richmond Road for Texas High School.

    Press Release:

Road Runner will “Fuel Good, One Gallon at a Time” with a brand-new spirit pump initiative in Texarkana. Beginning Friday, March 1, a portion of each sale at Road Runner’s school-branded pumps will be distributed to Arkansas High School, Liberty-Eylau High School, Pleasant Grove High School and Texas High School.

“Coulson Oil has a long history of giving back to the communities we serve,” said John Harris, president and CEO of Coulson Oil. “Our Road Runner convenience stores are proud to partner with Texarkana high schools to roll out this new initiative and support local students.”

To participate, customers can visit their local Road Runner store in Texarkana and pump gas at one of the spirit pumps, which will be decorated with the school mascot and colors. The designated locations include 5720 Loop 245 for Arkansas High School, 4603 West 7th Street for Liberty-Eylau High School, 4101 N. Kings Highway for Pleasant Grove High School and 1632 Richmond Road for Texas High School.  Three cents of every gallon sold from the spirit pumps will be donated to support the schools’ academic initiatives, athletic organizations and other student projects.

The Pleasant Grove High School Hawks Cheer Booster Club will help launch the initiative on Friday, March 1 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at 4101 N. Kings Highway in Texarkana, Texas. Additional school-led events at Road Runner stores will be announced in the coming weeks. As part of the kickoff, customers will be randomly selected to receive free gas during the community events.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
