Miller County Deputies have arrested Michael Wade McBride, 26, of Texarkana Arkansas and booked him into the Miller County Detention Center on a charge of residential burglary. Deputies were able to track McBride down because he dropped his cell phone while fleeing from the scene.

On April 21, 2018 Miller County Deputies responded to a residential burglary call in the Genoa/Fouke area on county road 258. The home owner notified a family member that the home intrusion alarm was activated; when the family member arrived he observed a broken window and a white male suspect behind the residence. The suspect fled on foot after being confronted by the family member who was armed. The family member provided deputies with a detailed description of the suspect. Deputies recovered evidence, including a cell phone dropped by the fleeing suspect. Miller County investigators obtained a search warrant for the phone and seized information which led to the identity of the suspect, 26 year old Michael Wade McBride of Texarkana, Arkansas. A felony warrant was issued for McBride on 4-26-2018. Miller County Deputies took McBride into custody in Texarkana, Arkansas on 5-1-2018 where he was booked into the Miller County Detention Center for residential burglary.
