Don’t Miss ‘A Mountain Christmas Memory’ at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church

Celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with this special presentation of “A Mountain Memory Christmas” from the Choir & Drama team at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church in Hooks Texas. There will be three performances to kick off the Christmas season, and all are free to the public.

Set in the late 1800’s, in a coal mining town in the mountains of Kentucky. A time when the mines had closed and there was no work or money, it’s a cold hard winter and Christmas is coming. This beautiful story of struggle, life, love, and family will remind us all of what is truly important in our lives.

Myrtle Springs Baptist Church is located at 555 County Road 2111 in Hooks, Texas. Shows will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 30, Friday, December 1, and Sunday, December 3. The program is free to the public, and will surely be a packed house for each performance.

After more than 40 years with commercial broadcasting, I decided to do my own thing by blogging, and taking "unconsultant" gigs. It affords me the ability to stay super involved in the community, but still, have plenty of time with my 3 granddaughters and other projects.
