A tragic incident that transpired on September 24, 2023, has taken a legal turn as Chris Scott turned himself in at the Miller County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, following a charge of negligent homicide. The charge is the result of an ongoing investigation into the unfortunate death of Brenda Witt, who authorities have determined was attacked by dogs belonging to Mr. Scott.
