The Hideout in downtown Texarkana is now open for business, and are especially thankful this year. Plans are for a big Night Before Thanksgiving party this Wednesday night, November 24 with live music from the Rewind Band.
The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has identified the remains found in the drainage ditch near the EZ Mart Store on Jefferson Avenue and Arkansas Boulevard as Judy Martin, 55, of Texarkana, Arkansas. An investigation into her death continues.

On Saturday, December 11, the KLFI-TV Showcase features a day full of family entertainment in downtown Texarkana with a Street Party at 4th and Wood Streets. Pro-wrestling, live music, huge cosplay contests, food trucks, and a lot more.

Saturday, December 4 the Live United Bowl, sponsored by Farmers Bank, will be played at Razorback Stadium and feature the SE Oklahoma State University Bulldogs taking on the Emporia State University Hornets. This is by far the largest sporting event in our area, don’t miss it!
The 6th Annual Gifts Galore & So Much More Holiday Expo highlighting local businesses will take place on “Small Business Saturday” November 27 at the Texarkana Texas Convention Center.
Here is a chance to help support the Southwest Arkansas Counseling and Mental Health, INC., Therapeutic Foster Care programs, have some great food, craft beer, and fun at Pecan Point. Funds raised will be used for the Therapeutic Foster Care Christmas Party that is held annually for the foster children in their care.
The “2021 Dwight Nevill Memorial Christmas Fun Toy Run” happens on Saturday, December 11, 2021. We have the details with the organizer, and friend, Al Green. This year as many as 500 motorcycles are expected for the parade through Texarkana.
