Texarkana Man Arrested with $70,000 in Drugs


A Texarkana Texas man has been arrested and charged Ikee Wyrick, 25, of Texarkana Texas with possession of Marijuana, Cocaine, Xanax, and Ecstasy. Wyrick was also charged with Felon in Possession of a firearm.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department Special Investigations Unit arrested Ikee Wyrick, 25, of Texarkana Texas during a search warrant at his residence in the 1700 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Drive today.  Officers seized an illegal drugs estimated to be worth $70,000 from inside the residence.

Officers served the search warrant at approximately 11:00 this morning.  Inside the residence, they discovered 19.5 pounds of marijuana, 31 grams of cocaine, 1,238 Xanax pills, and 3 tablets of MDMA (commonly known as Ecstasy).  Officers also seized an undisclosed amount of cash found hidden throughout the house and a loaded pistol.

Wyrick was arrested and transported to the Bi-State Jail, where he is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Marijuana, and three counts of Possession of Controlled Substance.
