TEXARKANA – Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Agents working with the FBI and the Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested Kenneth Nelson, 63, of Texarkana for human trafficking.
Kenneth D. Nelson, 63, of Texarkana, was arrested Thursday and booked into the Bi-State Jail. Nelson was charged with five counts of continuous trafficking of persons; all of which were underage girls. The charge is a first-degree felony.
The investigation began eight months ago and is ongoing. It is believed that there are other victims that have not been identified.
