The Texas A&M Texarkana Eagles softball team will host the Paris Junior College Dragons and the Eastern Oklahoma State Mountaineers in a doubleheader this Saturday at Spring Lake Park.

TEXARKANA, Texas – The new Texas A&M University-Texarkana Eagles softball team will host a double-header fall showcase Saturday, Oct. 7, at James Bramlett Field at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas.
Under the leadership of Coach Marie Stone, the Eagles will take on the Paris Junior College Dragons at 10 a.m. and the Eastern Oklahoma State College Mountaineers at12:30 p.m.
“With the start of our newest program, softball, we are continuing to provide different avenues for future A&M-Texarkana graduates,” said Michael Galvan, director of athletics. “Coach Stone is actively pursuing strong character-driven and athletically talented student-athletes who can contribute both on and off the field of play.”
The free showcase is open to the public.
