Main Street Texarkana has announced that this year’s Christmas Parade—originally scheduled for Monday, December 1 at 7 p.m.—has been postponed due to a forecast of cold temperatures and rainy weather. After reviewing conditions and prioritizing the safety of parade participants and the thousands of families who line the route each year, organizers decided to move the event to Monday, December 15 at 7 p.m.

The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at Central Mall, 2400 Richmond Road, and will follow a large citywide route before returning to the mall for gift drop-offs.
