The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has released a statement regarding Governor Asa Hutchinson’s executive order on facemasks in public places to slow the spread of COVID19. In his daily address to the state, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson has issued an order that requires residents to wear face masks in public places in an effort to slow the spread of COVID 19. The order takes effect on Monday, July 20 and can carry a penalty of up to $500.
Texarkana Texas Police have arrested Adam Post of Wake Village for an alleged sexual assault that occurred on July 3, 2020. Post is currently in the Bi-State Jail with a $100,000 bond.

Due to the continued spread of the COVID 19 virus, officials with Texarkana Texas have decided to cease the Saturday farmer’s markets downtown, but have an option for buyers to still get fresh, locally grown produce from local growers.
