Texarkana Texas Police arrested Kaneicia Ellis, 26, after she was involved in a fight with another woman. The suspect allegedly went to retrieve a knife from her vehicle during the altercation. The victim was cut in the face and on the head and was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital.
The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana has set a new record with their Fall enrollments. For the Fall semester, a total of 1,563 students are enrolled, that is an all-time high in the school’s 53-year history.
A little after 8:00 am this morning, Nash City Fire Marshal Steve Rogers was injured when a pistol he was carrying discharged, striking him in the leg. Rogers was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle where he was treated and released.
