The Miller County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a second suspect in the burglary of the Cotton Patch Liquor Store near Fulton, Arkansas. The suspect has been identified as George Edward Adams III, 27, of Maumelle Arkansas as the second person involved in the burglary. Police arrested Donald Shirey, 49, of Little Rock Arkansas on Wednesday.
The Miller County Sheriff’s Office is warning people about a phone scam where the caller claims to represent the Sheriff’s Department. Chief Deputy Michael McQuerrey says that the MCSO will never ask for, or collect money over the phone.
Officials with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission have begun the long process of renovating Mercer Bayou in Miller County Arkansas. The project is expected to take up to four years to complete.
