    Family Members Arrested and Charged with Filing False Report in ATV Theft Case

    Members of a Simms, Texas family have been arrested and charged with Filing a False Report to a Peace Officer in the case of an ATV that was reported stolen after one of the family members allegedly sank the ATV in a pond to avoid having to make any more payments.

    Tri-State Iron & Metal Inc. played a key role in the recent prosecution of a theft case where Jason Allen Autrey pled guilty to theft of government property and was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for stealing from Red River Army Depot. TAPD says that the people at Tri-state are key contributors of putting metal thieves behind bars.
