The Texarkana Texas Police have identified the two men directly involved in the shooting of an 18-year-old TAMU-T Eagles Baseball Player over the weekend. Police are seeking Kamauri Butler (17) for Aggravated Assault and Demarco Banks (20) for Deadly Conduct. It is believed that they are the shooters in this incident.
The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office has issued a press release with details of the shooting involving Bowie County Constable, Randall Baggett that occurred on April 24, 2023. Texas Rangers are leading the investigation.
The Texarkana Texas Police Department is investigating a shooting near Spring Lake Park that left an 18-year-old Texas A&M Ball Player struck by what is believed to be a stray bullet from a nearby altercation. BSA officials made the decision to close down this year’s Scout-O-Rama due to the incident.

The National Professional Fishing League held their 3-Day tournament on Wright Patman this last weekend with pro anglers from around the country competing. For the event’s winner, Texarkana native Ryan Satterfield it was “A dream come true” to win his first NPFL Tournament on his home lake, and a nice little prize of $100,000!
